Eight (8) years of working experience in Oil and Gas industry as a Project and Mechanical Engineer with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) contractor, mechanical package and equipment vendors, and certification body.
Completed the full cycle of project execution involving detailed design and engineering, preparation of tender documents and requisition packages, technical bid evaluations, selection of vendors / sub-contractors, vendor documents review and closure, drafting and update of technical specifications and data sheets for purchase order, material receivables checking, fabrication and factory acceptance tests monitoring / witnessing, and on-site commissioning of mechanical packages and equipment.
Also have prior experience in executing certifying authority, independent verification services and source inspection projects for EPCIC of offshore upstream facilities.
Well versed with end users’ technical standards (e.g. Petronas and HESS), classification rules and standards (e.g. DNV), national certification requirements (e.g. INMETRO), and other international codes, standards and recommended practices (e.g. API and ASME).
On track to be registered as a Professional / Chartered Engineer with recognized institutions (i.e. Institute of Engineers Malaysia – IEM, and Engineering Council UK – ECUK).
