I have a solid background in workplace safety and can bring over Eight years of practical experience in implementing OH&S procedures to the position.
I endeavor to keep abreast of the latest standards in workplace safety and have completed a number of relevant courses to this end, including the OTHM Level 7 in health and safety management, ProQual Level 6 Diploma in OHS, Nebosh Health & Safety at Work (HSW) and Nebosh International General Certificate (IGC). In addition to my formal qualifications, I have extensive experience producing, executing, and maintaining policies and procedures to keep employees safe and healthy in the workplace. My experience in preparing Risk Assessments, Site Standard Operating Procedures demonstrates my ability to marry an organization’s internal processes and procedures with legislative obligations.
My ability to manage relationships with colleagues with positivity and professionalism. Following my appointment as designated Health and Safety Lead, the scope of my position was broadened, leading me to take responsibility for training new recruits and running refresher courses for current employees.
