Contracts and procurement leader with 14 years across upstream Oil & Gas and gas/methanol processing in Malaysia (PETRONAS PSC, Hibiscus/Repsol) and Brunei (Brunei Methanol Company - DOE-regulated) - spanning end-to-end contract lifecycle, strategic sourcing, tender-board governance, and capital-project contracting. Currently leading a contracts-and-procurement team and owning commercial strategy for high-value capital and operational packages at BMC. Dual governance expertise across PETRONAS PPS/PTCAM and BMC Company Procurement Procedures (CPP) under Brunei Department of Energy (DOE) requirements - a rare combination in the regional O&G market.
Specialist in end-to-end contract lifecycle management and strategic sourcing, applying the 5 Rights of Procurement across EPC/EPCI/EPCIC, engineering services, OEM/materials, and operational call-offs. Proven across tendering, contract formation, variation/change-order governance, claims administration, and close-out. Digitally active - led governance-automation initiatives at Repsol/Hibiscus and BMC using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint, cutting manual follow-up and improving approval auditability across multi-stakeholder workflows.
Consistent record in strengthening governance frameworks, preventing NCR exposure, reducing procurement lead times, and enabling on-time, on-budget delivery. Equally effective in project-driven and steady-state operational contracting. Currently based in Brunei on a fixed-term assignment; relocating to Kuala Lumpur and available with notice.
