I am a Chartered Engineer (UK) and hold BSc and MSc degrees in Materials Engineering. I am a professional member of the Institute of Corrosion in the United Kingdom and hold several certifications in corrosion and materials, RBI, coatings and FFS with API, NACE and TWI. I have worked for various firms for the total of 21 years with 15 years' experience in upstream oil and gas industries in three countries; Iran, Oman and the UK. My professional expertise includes materials selection, corrosion modelling, degradation assessment, corrosion and integrity management, RBI, inspection, corrosion monitoring, linepipe specification, manufacturing processes, supplier's qualification, cathodic protection, coating and lining selection, materials testing, QA/QC and welding engineering.
