Structural Drafter/Draughtsman

Responsibilities: 1) Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for structural components and systems, including offshore platforms, pipelines, and onshore facilities, using industry-standard drafting software. 2) Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and other team members to interpret design concepts and translate them into detailed technical drawings. 3) Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software to produce drawings that meet company standards, project specifications, and industry regulations. 4) Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Coordinate with engineering teams to address any discrepancies. 5) Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and other relevant information. Assist in the preparation of design documentation and specifications. 6) Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry codes, standards, and regulations applicable to structural drafting in the oil and gas sector. 7) Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve drafting-related issues and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. 8) Provide essential support to the structural engineering teams by assisting in various drafting-related tasks and participating in project meetings as required. Requirements: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Structural Drafter/Draughtsman, preferably in the oil and gas industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software. - Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction materials in the oil and gas sector. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. - Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to structural drafting in the oil and gas sector.
