Scope of work

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise outfitting engineering activities for FLNG/FPSO projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate outfitting requirements with overall project objectives.
  • Develop detailed outfitting plans, including material specifications, fabrication schedules, and installation procedures.
  • Oversee the procurement of outfitting materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on outfitting design concepts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate the timely delivery of outfitting components and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate outfitting activities during construction and commissioning phases, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure the safety of outfitting operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on outfitting progress and addressing any concerns or requests.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 11-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on Floating platforms (FLNG/FPSO).
  • Proven track record of leading outfitting engineering activities for complex projects, preferably within the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of outfitting principles, practices, and standards applicable to FLNG/FPSO installations.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidelines governing outfitting design and construction.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications used in outfitting engineering, such as CAD/CAM, PLM, and ERP systems.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to project sites and client locations.
  • Professional certifications or licenses relevant to outfitting engineering and project management are advantageous.
