Job Title: Project Manager (Midstream)

Location: Head Offices, Jakarta, Indonesia

Site Location: Teluk Bintuni, West Papua, Indonesia

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 20 years of relevant work experience to lead the execution of a significant large-scale EPCIC oil & gas project in Teluk Bintuni, West Papua, Indonesia. This project entails the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) of a 280 MMSCFD Onshore Gas Processing Plant (GPP), onshore and offshore pipelines, Pipeline End Terminal (PLET), subsea riser, and hook-up to nearshore FLNG. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, ensuring the successful delivery of the project on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental standards. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive project execution plan, including project schedule, budget, contracting strategy, risk management plan, and project management procedures.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for coordination and communication with project stakeholders, including authorities, joint venture partners, contractors, and vendors.
  • Leading the project team in the development and maintenance of the project master schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
  • Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Overseeing the preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations for procurement activities related to the project.
  • Facilitating interface coordination between different project components, including the Onshore Gas Processing Plant, pipelines, PLET, subsea riser, and FLNG facilities.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, including safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Providing regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, including project status updates, milestone achievements, and key performance indicators.
  • Requirements:

 

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record as Project Manager of successfully delivering large-scale (> USD300mil) EPCIC projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles, practices, and techniques, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations applicable to oil and gas facilities and infrastructure.
  • Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary project teams, with the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
