Scope of Work

  • Master mariner having sailed as Chief Officer on LNG ships for at least 5 years, of which 2 years should be on FSRU.
  • Familiar with international standards and guidance from industry bodies.
  • Capacity to lead and manage interfaces with FSRU Owners, Bunker vessel operators, Port authorities, SLNG and other marine stakeholders.
  • Capacity to lead and support the development of engineering deliverables relating to the marine interface.
  • Understanding of basic process physics and engineering requirements (e.g. JT effect, able to understand HMB).
  • Understanding of hard arm operating and maintenance requirements.
  • Understanding of SSL requirements and limitations.
  • Support the development of operational philosophy and development of the required manuals (e.g. Terminal information manual, operating procedures, maintenance programmes, checklists etc.).
  • Capacity to support the development and implementation of the commissioning plan, in particular the interface between the onshore and FSRU design teams.
