Process Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Carry out the process systems FEED and Detail Design work. • Review the process bidding documents, specifications, data sheet, FEED design verification and calculation reports, and raise optimization proposals. • Perform process simulation analysis, design calculation, PFD / PID process optimization, determine material specification and size and equipment process parameters, and provide the design inputs required for C & E diagram, control narratives, shutdown philosophy, HAZID & HAZOP and related technical safety studies. • Answer process technical questions from Client, Owner and a Third party about the process design, and solve the process problems during construction and installation stages. • Consult and coordinate among the manufacturers, suppliers, project management team, Owner, the Classification Society or the designated Third-party organizations to help to effectively solve the process technical problems. • Assist the operation and market departments on process problem-shooting and market development with technical supports. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 3 years oil & gas or chemical plant design relevant working experiences. • Degree or Master holder of Chemical or oil & gas process engineering discipline. • Working experience in conversion and newbuilding of FPSO/FSO/FPU/MOPU Topside design works. • Familiar with ASME/API/ NACE / Norsok and ABS/DNV/BV etc standards & rules. • Skill in Aspen Hysys or Pro/II programs, knowledge of PipeNET / Flow Master / FlareSim and Aveva Diagram / SP P&ID etc. (preferable) • Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills. • Decisive, independent and good attitude. • Good capabilities in speaking and writing English and able to speak Mandarin (preferable). • Willing to travel regionally and outstation in design office or shipyard (i.e SEA, China, etc.) as and when required by project.
