Scope of Work

Role Summary

Responsible for leading and managing interface coordination activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations stakeholders for offshore/floater projects. The role ensures smooth integration between multiple project packages, disciplines, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies throughout project execution.

Preference will be given to candidates with FPSO/floater project experience and strong familiarity with Malaysian regulatory requirements and offshore project execution practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead interface management activities across all project phases including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
  • Coordinate interfaces between topsides, hull, marine, subsea, utilities, and third-party packages
  • Establish and maintain interface registers, action trackers, and interface management plans
  • Facilitate interface meetings with internal teams, clients, contractors, vendors, shipyards, and authorities
  • Identify, track, and resolve technical and execution interface issues to avoid schedule or operational impact
  • Ensure alignment between project disciplines and package contractors during project execution
  • Support integration planning for offshore/floater facilities including FPSO projects
  • Liaise with Malaysian regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local regulatory and project requirements
  • Monitor interface deliverables, milestones, and close-out activities
  • Support risk assessments, SIMOPS coordination, constructability reviews, and system integration activities
  • Provide interface management support during mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases
  • Prepare interface reports and provide regular updates to project management team


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Offshore projects
  • Proven experience in interface management within EPC/EPCIC projects
  • Preferably with FPSO, floater, or offshore production facility experience
  • Good understanding of Malaysian offshore regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Experience coordinating across multi-discipline engineering and project teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Familiar with offshore project execution, commissioning, and integration activities
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and interface stakeholders simultaneously


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
