Job Summary:

The Senior/Lead Instrumentation Engineer will take a pivotal role in an FLNG project based in Jakarta or Papua, overseeing instrumentation engineering activities. With a focus on FPSO/MOPU/FSO (floaters experience) and EPC/EPCIC projects, the incumbent will ensure the successful execution of instrumentation engineering tasks to meet project objectives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities in Indonesia.


Job Responsibilities:

1.Lead the instrumentation engineering scope for the FLNG project, encompassing FPSO/MOPU/FSO (floaters experience) and EPC/EPCIC activities.

2.Develop and review instrumentation specifications, datasheets, and drawings in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

3.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate instrumentation designs into overall project layouts and configurations.

4.Conduct technical evaluations and selection of instrumentation systems, ensuring suitability for project specifications and operational requirements.

5.Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and designers in the development and execution of instrumentation engineering deliverables.

6.Perform technical reviews of vendor documents, drawings, and proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.

7.Participate in design reviews, hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety and operational risks.

8.Liaise with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues, coordinate equipment deliveries, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

9.Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule for instrumentation engineering scope, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

10.Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation for instrumentation systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.


Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

2.Minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with a focus on FPSO/MOPU/FSO (floaters experience) and EPC/EPCIC projects.

3.Proven track record of leading instrumentation engineering activities for large-scale projects, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

4.Strong understanding of instrumentation design principles, standards, and practices, including knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.

5.Proficiency in engineering software tools for instrumentation design and analysis.

6.Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and project teams.

7.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements and deadlines.

8.Willingness to travel and work in Jakarta or Papua for the duration of the project, with the potential for extension until 2026.
