Scope of work
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and supervise the maintenance, repair, and optimization of rotating equipment.
• Conduct detailed inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of complex machinery.
• Perform Fitness-for-Service assessments based on API 579 standards.
• Utilize FEA and CFD analysis for performance evaluation and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance practices and processes.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and advancements in rotating equipment.
• Analyse equipment performance data and recommend performance enhancements.
• Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting rotating equipment.
• Strong experience in conducting Fitness-for-Service (FFS) based on API 579 standards.
• Background in pump, gas turbine generator manufacturer as design engineer
• Proficiency in utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis for performance evaluation and optimization.
• Extensive knowledge of complex rotating machinery, including pumps, turbines, etc.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams, and make sound decisions.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
