Job Summary:

The Senior Construction Engineer will play a pivotal role in an FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) project based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with frequent travel to Papua during the construction phase. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with floaters such as FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading), FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading), and MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit), ensuring the successful execution of construction activities. This is a 1-year contract position, extending until 2026.


Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all construction activities related to the FLNG project.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement construction plans and schedules.

- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

- Review and approve construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and procedures.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to address any design changes or scope modifications during the construction phase.

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of safety among the construction team.

- Prepare progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges.


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction engineering, with a focus on floaters such as FPSO, FSO, and MOPU.

- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from initiation to completion.

- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, particularly to Papua, Indonesia, during the construction phase.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the energy industry.
