Scope of work

Responsibilities:


  • Leading and managing engineering analysis and projects as required.
  • Ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective planning and execution of subsea operations.
  • Implementing safety and quality management systems.
  • Preparing client cost estimates and technical proposals.
  • Interfacing with clients, vendors, contractors, and external regulatory authorities.
  • Conducting various analyses such as hydrodynamic, mooring, towing, foundation, offshore lifting, riser, seafastening, and vessel stability assessments.
  • Reviewing technical reports and drawings, providing advice on technical and project-related issues.
  • Supervising and overseeing the drafting and production drawings, specifying appropriate components, equipment, and materials.
  • Preparing offshore installation procedures and attending offshore operations, load-out meetings, inspections, and tests at client/vendor premises.
  • Supporting the commercial team with technical evaluations/estimations and in the preparation of tenders.
  • Participating in research and development programs.


Requirements:

  • An honors degree accredited by the Engineering Council or a reputable university degree in Naval Architecture or a related field such as Engineering or Marine Science.
  • Mandatory prior experience with the installation/decommissioning of floating assets.
