Overview:

We are looking for a Field Operations Method Manager to support multi-asset offshore operations for an energy project. This position ensures operational excellence, process integration, and compliance across offshore production facilities while coordinating improvement and HSE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and enhancement of the Field Operations framework within the Company Management System (CMS).
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to operations teams, fostering a safety-driven and improvement-focused environment.
• Manage the Modification of Change (MoC) process and coordinate process optimization studies.
• Oversee and close out project punch lists and material deficiency reports.
• Coordinate and participate in operational studies related to optimization, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Monitor chemical treatment plans, inspection activities, and integrity-related processes.
• Ensure effective execution of Operations and Maintenance agreements and coordinate cross-functional meetings.
• Drive HSE compliance, ensuring actions from audits and reviews are closed out promptly.
• Provide production and cost data for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Maintain the Field Operations Management System and related documentation.
• Serve as a focal point for stakeholders and partners, including coordination of gas nomination and hydrocarbon allocation.
• Support integration of new systems, technologies, and field shutdown activities.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with at least 15 years’ experience in offshore oil & gas operations.
• Minimum 3–5 years in an OIM position and 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of production systems, integrity management, and HSE standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering Electrical design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
• Electrical Design & Engineering Work – to develop engineering design work based on requirements and to coordinate with other departments on the design work.
• Preparing pre-commissioning/commissioning procedure and assistance.
• Construction Assistance – to provide supervision at the construction site (depends on projects varies from few days to few months). Procurement Assistance – to provide data sheet to Procurement, prepare bid tabulation and conduct evaluation on vendors’ quotation

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
• Able to use ETAP – Power System Study.
• Capable to prepare electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagram, Load Schedule, Motor Control Schedule, Cable Schedule, Cable routing drawing, Power and Control drawing, Area Classification drawing, grounding drawing, etc.
• Sufficient knowledge of International Codes & Standards in relation to Electrical Design.
• Able to undertake works in electrical design up to construction at site (supervision).
• Experience in Project Engineering, Preparation of Electrical Inquiry Documents and commercial/technical Bid Evaluation. MTO and Cost Estimation and InterDiscipline coordination.
• Familiar with Electrical Equipments such as Transformers, HV & LV Switchgear, MCC, Motors, UPS, LCS, Communication equipments, etc.
• Able to perform Electrical calculation such as Cable sizing/Voltage Drop calculation, Short circuit study, etc.
• PC literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and knowledge in Auto-Cad.
• Ability to work in team, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Registered with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia).

Responsabilità principali

• Sviluppare la progettazione di dettaglio e di base per sistemi strumentali (strumenti di misura, valvole di controllo, loop di controllo, etc.)
• Redigere specifiche tecniche, datasheet, e documentazione per strumentazione di processo e sistemi DCS/PLC/SCADA
• Definire filosofie di controllo, logiche di automazione, loop diagram, P&ID in collaborazione con processo e automazione
• Selezionare e dimensionare strumentazione secondo requisiti di processo e normative (ATEX, SIL, IEC, etc.)
• Gestire e supervisionare fornitori di strumentazione durante le fasi di approvvigionamento, FAT e messa in servizio
• Collaborare con altri reparti ingegneristici (elettrico, meccanico, civile) per integrazione impianti
• Fornire supporto tecnico in cantiere durante il commissioning, startup e troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

• Review ITB documents, perform site surveys, and incorporate the technical details for the preparation of Mechanical Engineering deliverables.
• Prepare Mechanical Engineering deliverables in timely manner and in compliance with the project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., Mechanical Design Basis, Equipment Specifications & Datasheet, Equipment GA Drawings, etc.).
• Participate in technical meetings/ discussions including Inter Discipline Checks (IDC),
• as well as supporting other disciplines in project execution.
• Perform Vendor Data review for incorporation into project deliverables.
• Prepare RFQ, Material Requisition, Technical Clarifications and Technical Bid Evaluation.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in performing engineering design for oil & gas, petrochemical, oleochemical, or general industries.
• Conversant with international design codes and standards such as ASME, API, NFPA.
• Possess fundamentals of mechanical static and rotating equipment design (e.g., Boiler,
• Heat Exchanger, Pump, Compressor), as well as firefighting system.
• Must have a strong knowledge of international mechanical equipment design codes & standards such as API 650, API 620, API 653 and UL142 for storage tank, ASME VIII Div. 1 & 2 for pressure vessel and ANSI B73.1, ISO 5199, API 610, API 676 and API 682 and for pump.
• Good command of English and familiar with Microsoft Office software.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees within the organization, as well as with the Clients, Vendors and Contractors.
• Experience in using engineering tools such as PV Elite and HTRI is an added advantage.

Company Overview

Our client is a leading international energy service provider, delivering end-to-end engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) solutions for complex offshore developments across the globe. As part of a high-profile offshore redevelopment project, the selected candidate will be seconded to a major engineering consultancy office in Singapore, working as part of the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team.

Role Summary

The Lead Instrument Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating all instrumentation and control engineering activities for this large-scale offshore project. This includes overseeing design integrity, technical compliance, and seamless integration of instrumentation systems across multiple project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the instrumentation discipline team and provide technical direction throughout FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Review and endorse discipline deliverables, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and international standards.
• Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams, PMC counterparts, EPC contractor, and client stakeholders to resolve technical matters efficiently.
• Oversee the development of control philosophies, instrument datasheets, I/O lists, cause & effect diagrams, and control narratives.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, 3D model, and constructability reviews.
• Monitor progress and support timely delivery of all instrumentation deliverables against schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply international design codes & standards (API, ISO, ASME) and client specifications.
• Provide expertise in rotating equipment selection, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).

• Experience with Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer, or Carbon Capture Storage projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with vendor engagement, fabrication, and technical audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, review, and approval of structural design deliverables, including calculations, layouts, GA drawings, supports, and integrity checks.

• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AISC, Eurocode, and offshore class rules (ABS, DNV, BV).

• Perform and check structural analyses (static, dynamic, fatigue, and lifting calculations).

• Manage and coordinate with piping, mechanical, process, and layout teams for integration.

• Support FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases, ensuring all milestones are met.

• Review and approve vendor/DEC deliverables, including fabrication drawings, lifting arrangements, and installation procedures.

• Act as technical focal point in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and constructability workshops.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities related to FPSO RLEC (Rejuvenation, Life Extension & Conversion) works
• Ensure structural modifications, tank refurbishments, and life-extension scopes are executed per standards and schedule
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and fabrication yards to ensure integration of new systems onto aging hulls
• Monitor mechanical, electrical, and marine upgrade works during the conversion process
• Review plans for hull strengthening, module integration, coatings/renewals, and fireproofing upgrades
• Support interface between hull refurbishment teams, topsides modules, and commissioning workstreams
• Track fabrication progress, NCRs, and construction readiness for sail-away

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Offshore Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in offshore oil & gas construction, with at least 2 FPSO RLEC or conversion projects
• Deep knowledge of FPSO life extension techniques, hull repair practices, and aging asset management
• Familiar with offshore asset class rules, marine certifications, and structural retrofit standards
• Strong leadership and stakeholder alignment across yards, vendors, EPC, and classification bodies

Preferred

• Prior experience with Malaysian redevelopment FPSO projects
• Familiarity with ABS/DNV offshore classification during conversion
• Understanding of tank inspections, structural repair methods, and life-extension planning
