Scope

• To support and provide marine engineering knowledge to CCS system and to ensure project performance targets are achieved in a safe and environmentally sound with compliance with Regulatory requirement.
• To participate and contribute to providing Marine engineering input to the technical issues raised by Client.
• To prepare documents (specification, drawing, calculation etc.) related to Marine deliverables (mainly for LCO2 system including storage, transfer, handling, operating philosophy etc.)
• To manage and be accountable for task given, as delegated by the Lead Engineer.

Qualification

• Minimum 12 years of working experience in the Cryogenic system.
• BEng or Bsc in Mechanical / Marine / Chemical engineering.
• Registered with recognized engineering bodies (BEM / IEM / MBOT etc).

Competency

• Experience in designing Cryogenic systems at least 1-2 offshore / onshore project.
• Possess knowledge of Classification & IMO requirements, and Engineering Codes & Standards for Oil & Gas Industry, e.g. ASME, API, ASTM, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills in English.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and adaptability.
• Able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead petrophysical interpretation for exploration and appraisal wells, including data acquisition planning, log quality control, and formation evaluation.
• Integrate petrophysical data with geological, geophysical, and reservoir inputs to build consistent subsurface models.
• Conduct porosity, water saturation, lithology, and hydrocarbon volume estimations using log and core data.
• Recommend logging programs for upcoming wells and advise on real-time log evaluation during drilling.
• Provide input into volumetric analysis, reservoir modeling, and uncertainty assessment.
• Support prospect evaluation and ranking through petrophysical risk and resource input.
• Collaborate closely with geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams.
• Mentor junior petrophysicists and contribute to best practice implementation across the team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petrophysics, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in petrophysical interpretation within the E&P industry.
• Strong background in offshore exploration and appraisal projects, ideally within Southeast Asia.
• Familiarity with PSC projects and regulatory environments in Malaysia is an advantage.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in petrophysical software (e.g., Techlog, Geolog, IP, or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of log analysis, rock physics, and core-log integration.
• Experience with unconventional or complex reservoirs (e.g., thin beds, laminated sands) is a plus.
• Knowledge of log acquisition technologies and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geological assessments of exploration and appraisal opportunities in offshore Malaysia.
• Interpret and integrate seismic, well, and geological datasets to generate drillable prospects.
• Conduct structural and stratigraphic mapping, play fairway analysis, and depositional modeling.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience or Structural Geology is advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of upstream E&P experience, with strong focus on offshore and deepwater environments.
• Proven experience in PSC-based exploration projects.
• Familiarity with Malaysia’s geological basins, especially offshore Sabah, is a strong plus.
• Experience working in international joint venture settings preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in geological and seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom).

About the Job

The Head of Re-refining will be responsible in leading and overseeing all aspects of the re-refinery operations and processes, ensuring optimal operation, efficient and compliant processing of products in adherence to safety protocols. It is paramount of the role to implement measures to optimize re-refining performance, maximizing output and minimizing downtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION

a) Operational Leadership;

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the re-refinery operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
