  • Review and analyze operational data, advising on necessary adjustments to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
  • Interface with project teams to ensure flow assurance considerations are incorporated into all stages of design, construction, and operation.
  • Provide input into the development of safety, operational, and maintenance procedures with respect to flow assurance systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and resolve flow-related challenges in both onshore and offshore environments.
  • Conduct and oversee the design and testing of flow assurance-related equipment and systems.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documents for stakeholders, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for flow assurance-related issues during construction and operation.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the design, construction, and operational phases of the project.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in flow assurance engineering techniques and best practices.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 7 years of flow assurance experience, including both offshore and onshore gas development projects.
  • Strong background in flow assurance modeling, simulations, and system design for pipeline and process systems.
  • Expertise in managing challenges such as hydrate, wax, and asphaltene deposition, erosion/corrosion, and pipeline integrity.
  • Experience with relevant software tools for flow assurance analysis (e.g., OLGA, PipeSim, or others).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations in flow assurance engineering.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Previous experience with brownfield projects, particularly in gas development, is preferred.
  • Willingness to be based in South Sumatra, Indonesia, for the duration of the project.
