Job Details:

1. Establish standard and concept for the work to comply with job requirement.
2. Responsible in pipe routing and equipment layout planning study.
3. Responsible in engineering design works such as plot plan, key plan, underground and aboveground piping arrangement, construction isometric and pipe support detail drawing, field fabrication part, etc.
4. Responsible to review information drawings such as civil information, nozzle orientation, vessel clip, instrument component information and process information (piping isometric for calculation of hydraulic delta-p, etc.)
5. Review all internal design check (IDC) documents from all disciplines.

Job Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical, Material Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10 years in piping design in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries.
3. Familiar with international codes and standard (especially ASME31.3, ASME, API, PTS, SHELL DEP, JIP 33, etc.)
4. Good knowledge in preparation of engineering specifications and job instructions for piping designs, materials, insulation, painting etc.
5. Good knowledge in Plant Layout Planning and Detailed Piping Design in view of Construction, Process Flow Scheme, Machinery Operation etc.
6. Familiar with inter discipline coordination work with regard to layout and piping design.
7. Able to carry out site survey to gain required information and/or verification of existing plant documentation.

10. Familiar with CAESAR II and AUTOCAD software.

Job Details:

1. Manage projects as Lead Engineer and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of projects ensuring the Department quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements are met.
2. Performing basic and detail design for static equipment such as pressure vessel, storage tank, heat exchanger and package equipment.
3. Responsible for cost, schedule, quality and budget control.
4. Responsible for issue of all mechanical deliverable documents such as engineering specification, mechanical datasheet, requisition, technical evaluation, engineering drawing and also reviewing vendor document.
5. Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines, project management and Client teams.
6. Participates in department meetings, project status meetings and is responsible for correct reporting of amongst other project status, progress, delays, change notices and management, lessons learned and close-out.
7. Responsible to provide information to other discipline such as loading data, construction bill of quantity, electric load and also field work instruction.
8. Responsible to perform proposals work which involve man hour and schedule estimates related to the mechanical static scope of work.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering background from recognized university.
2. At least 7-10 years working experience in oil & gas industry as a mechanical static engineer or at least 5 years working experience in designing the pressure vessels (pressure vessels manufacturer).
3. Must have thorough knowledge of static equipment ranging from vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns and package equipment. Furnace /fired equipment and thermal rating for shell and tube heat exchanger is an advantage.
4. Had a strong technical background in an engineering contracting environment with all aspects of static equipment engineering. The understanding of the technical requirements of the project and directing others to apply this into the project is important.
5. Ability to work in teams with all levels and vendors and possess excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation and report writing skills.
6. Able to define work scope and required resource.
7. Able to operate pressure vessel design software such as PV Elite, Codecal, etc.
8. Well verse in static equipment design code and standard such as API, ASME codes and TEMA and client standard such as Petronas PTS and Shell DEP.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering Electrical design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator (Buyer) for a petrochemical project with an EPC client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves sourcing vendors, managing procurement activities, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The position is a 1-year contract with a focus on coordinating with various departments and negotiating with vendors.

Job Responsibilities

• Source suitable vendors and maintain good relationships with Vendor PICs.
• Coordinate requisition requirements with other departments.
• Nominate and finalize vendor selections for RFQs and monitor quotation submissions.
• Communicate with vendors for quotation submissions.
• Distribute quotation copies to Project and Engineering Departments; report submission status to the Procurement Manager.
• Assist Procurement Manager in finalizing vendor selection upon receipt of quotation tabulations and evaluations.
• Negotiate with vendors for better rates/deals.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to selected vendors.
• Liaise with the Transportation Department on tax exemption, local sales tax, and logistics matters before placing orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage process safety studies and loss prevention activities.
• Review and liaise with third-party consultants and clients on process safety and fire protection engineering design.
• Ensure the quality and timely execution of third-party consultants' work.
• Support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in proposal execution, including technical write-ups, cost, and man-hour estimation.
• Develop design HSE plans and process safety study schedules.
• Select and coordinate with third-party consultants for safety studies.
• Prepare and review input/output design documents, analysis, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Process Department Manager, shall be responsible to lead and manage effectively Process Team function and resources for Process Engineering and Pre-commissioning and Commissioning as to support company business in execution of proposal and awarded project which include but not limited to the followings:

• Department Resource Planning and Development - Manpower planning and assignment for proposal and job based on the personnel capability and project requirement. 

• Lead Assigned Engineer - Proposal / Job assignment as Lead Assigned Engineer. Taking leadership in providing consultation and apply loss prevention process throughout the project development phases in engineering design, procurement, construction and installation, commissioning and start-up for all Toyo Malaysia’s projects and proposals

• Able to advise and responsible to check and review technically on the subordinates deliverables for process engineering design work and pre-commissioning and commissioning and ensure they are performing efficiently and effectively during proposal and project delivery.

• Pre-commissioning and Commissioning

- Able to plan, prepare for and participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Be able to support and assist the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site, with coordination of site organization.

- Able to execute Smooth Start-up Program by planning the schedule and conducting number of workshops at the early stage of projects.

• Department General Administration

- Hold the responsibility in managing the department in terms of staff recruitment, timesheet attendance and leave approval, developed training plan for the department, conduct yearly performance evaluation and assessment.

• Candidates must possess Chemical Engineering background from recognized University.
• At least 15 years of engineering design experience in Process Engineering and Commissioning in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical field for major oil companies.
• Very well versed and conversant in related design codes locally and international.
