JOB DESCRIPTION
This position functionally reports to the HSEA Manager whilst providing support to the Drilling and Wells Managers / Superintendent onshore, including the Drilling and Wells Supervisors offshore via an offshore safety personnel on the HSE planning prior to and during day-to-day operational execution at the offshore facilities.
Principal Accountabilities
- HSE Drilling Advisor to assist line managers in instructing and supervising all HSE related matters in all activities on site with contractors including subcontractors.
- To ensure deliverables are in accordance with Company procedures, policies & guidelines and the requirements of the latest OSH (Safety & Health Officer) Regulations 1997
- Facilitate / Coordinate with offshore safety coach to monitor, compile and audit site HSE MS such as statistical reports, HSE weekly, incident investigation and reporting, and other relevant reports, generation of both routine and ad-hoc HSE reports as and when required
- Develop and coordinate all HSE documentations required from governmental agencies for all EnQuest’s Drilling and Wells’ activities offshore Malaysia
- Assist in implementation of HSE Management System (MS), 2nd and 3rd level procedures, roll outs and review under consultation of Drilling & Wells onshore and HSE management.
- Develop a Campaign specific HSE plan, KPI, SIMOPs document for all activities and HSE MS bridging document between EnQuest and Contractors
- Conduct emergency response training and desktop exercise in Company office in accordance with the ERP
- Identify all relevant HSE training requirement for Company and Contractor personnel to maintain or reduce risks and prevent potential incidents from reoccurring
- Maintenance of HSE risk registers and performance, Incident reporting, Lessons Learned databases and other associated records and protocols of the HSE MS.
- Provide HSE support to the EnQuest HSE team internally and to the wider organisation externally such as DOSH, PETRONAS as and when required.
- Actively participate with the offshore safety coach in the promotion of HSE policies, plans and programmes such as HAZIDs meeting, hazards hunts and weekly safely meeting
- Provide advice on day-to-day HSE support and services to the line managers.
- Lead the safety audit related to HSE activities prior or during active Drilling and Wells campaign to ensure Contractors obliged to the Contract’s safety standards
- Any other duties which are deemed to be within the capacity & responsibility of this position
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Safety & Health officer in offshore with at least 2 years within oil and gas industries.
- Familiar or working knowledge of related Regulation within oil & gas as and marine
- Preferably holds Bachelors degree in Engineering / Science / Safety & Health studies or its equivalent. Masters Degree in Safety is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Professional certification by accredited Bodies / Associations is an advantage but not mandatory
- Certified as a Safety & Health Officer from DOSH, and has professional certification such as green book or other internationally recognized safety qualification, i.e. NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA USA or equivalent.
- Competent in PTW and JSA.
- DOE Competent person for Scheduled Wastes handling, DOSH certified for level 2 scaffolding and had attended rigging/slinging training would be an added advantage.

Essential:

Job Purpose
To oversee and coordinate all material management activities throughout the FLNG project lifecycle, ensuring timely availability, traceability, and quality compliance of materials required for fabrication, construction, and pre-commissioning. The Senior Material Coordinator serves as the key interface between the EPCIC Contractor, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and construction teams to ensure smooth material flow aligned with project schedule and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage material planning, tracking, and control for all project packages and bulk items at the fabrication yard.
- Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, customs clearance, and documentation of project materials.
- Maintain full traceability of materials through the Material Management System (MMS) or equivalent platform.
- Review Material Take-Off (MTO), Purchase Requisitions (PR), and Delivery Schedules to align with fabrication and construction priorities.
- Supervise receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials in accordance with QA/QC and safety requirements.
