Rotating Equipment Engineer

Job Overview:
Seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support offshore and onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the selection, design, specification, and procurement of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and fans. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, select, and specify rotating equipment for offshore and onshore facilities.

Requirements:

- Experience with rotating equipment selection, design, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as ANSYS, Bentley AutoPIPE, or similar.
- Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME, ISO, and NACE.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Marine Engineer duties typically include the following activities, which can be undertaken independently or when assisting other Asset Team members:
- Communicate effectively within a multidiscipline design team to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
- Assist the project team with the management and safe offshore execution in accordance with policies and procedures
- Implement engineering processes and procedures to ensure technical compliance to Petrofac's and Industry best practice engineering standards
- All work is performed in accordance with legislation, class, flag and within the Safety/Facility Management Systems.
- Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed.
- Provide input to HIRAs, HAZOPs, risk assessments, method statements and other safety reviews as directed.
- Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes. standards and legislation.
- Ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
- Ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from third party are prepared and accurate.
- Participation, control and assurance of correct implementation all project related Management of Marine related MoC's (engineering and offshore execution) as per Petrofac Management of Change Processes
- Development, review and approval of project related procedures and methodologies
- Engineering discipline assistance with reviewing third party deliverables to ensure alignment with Petrofac's project and operational standards.
