Duties & Responsibility


1 Support Lead QA/QC to control Contractor /Vendor to

implementation of Quality Management System

quality activities of Site Construction


7 Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and

checks on ratings and materials for connections


8 Conduct tests of continuity, insulation resistance, and

other relevant checks


9 Identify any defects/non-conformities, documented and

report deviations.


10 Ensure that all instrument and telecom installations are

safe and comply with regulatory requirements.


11 Prepare comprehensive reports on inspection results and

12 Manage documentation with Contractor: Maintain

III. POSITION REQUIREMENT

1. Education & Experienced

- Minimum Bachelor degree of Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or

Controls Engineering (or equivalent), and experienced related field, with Ten (10)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and quality-assure seismic interpretation, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation across exploration and development assets.
  • Lead the advance geophysical studies including but not limited to, 3D seismic reprocessing, rock physics, spectral decomposition and AI-machine learning interpretation. Demonstrate the value of Information to justify.

Sr. Engineer T&I as part of project team to ensure the planning, engineering, execution, completion of FLNG transportation and installation works performed in safely manner and in accordance with project requirements.

Sr. Engineer T&I is responsible for technical oversight, T&I permits & certifications compliance, interface management and execution assurance of all FLNG T&I activities. This includes supervision of marine operations for FLNG towing, mooring installation, hook-up & tensioning, lifting operations, ROV operations and marine spreads operations.

The role requires full time presence at the fabrication yard in China during T&I engineering until FLNG sail away and move to Indonesia offshore for installation until start-up.


Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate and support Project Management Teams to ensure all aspects of the T&I scopes are executed safely, complying with HSSE, Quality, and Schedule requirements.

2. Review, validate and assurance FLNG T&I engineering, procedures, plan and execution deliverables, including method statements, towing plan/analysis/procedures, station-keeping/positioning, spread mooring installation & hook-up plan/analysis/procedures, metocean/weather windows, sea-fastening, riggings, navigation, SIMOPS plan, risk assessment, PTW matrices, etc.

3. Review, validate and ensure the suitability and capacity of marine spreads, ROVs, lifting appliances and associate equipment for T&I works aligned with the project requirements and execution plan.

4. Work alongside HSSE, Construction, Operations teams and relevant disciplines to conduct T&I scope HAZID/HIRA, JSA and constructability reviews.

5. Monitor T&I and resource schedules to ensure timely mobilization of marine spreads, equipment, offshore personnel and subcontractors.

6. Drive onshore/offshore readiness and monitor execution of T&I operations.

7. Support and ensure all required permits & certifications for T&I works are in-placed as per execution plan and schedule.

8. Enforce HSSE compliance offshore, participate in toolbox briefings, site audits, emergency drills, and conduct real-time validation of Contractor works.

9. Provide inputs/response to site query, letter correspond, management of change related to T&I scope of works.

10. Engagement and liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS), Classification Society and Flag Authority.

11. Interfaces and collaborating with disciplines and other stakeholders i.e. SURF, Construction, Commissioning and Operation Team.

12. Follow and comply with all relevant COMPANY policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Job Specification

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Transportation and Installation (T&I) work within offshore oil and gas projects. Preferably within FLNG/FPSO/FSO/FPU or floating asset environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architect or Ocean Engineering or Civil/Structure or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited
  • College or University.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language.
  • Proficient in marine transportation, mooring installation, lifting operations, marine spreads & equipment suitability inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of T&I industrial codes & standards i.e. DNVGL- ST-N001, API RP 2MOP, ISO 19901-6.
  • Strong understanding of Class, Flag, and MWS expectations for T&I work scope.
  • Familiar in project T&I softwares (OrcaFlex, Moses, etc.) is a plus.
  • Has an effective and appropriate level of written and oral communication skills. Has the ability to liaise / interface with people
  • at all levels.
  • Strong management communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt to Chinese working environment.
