Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in and/or be responsible for activities related to formal safety assessments, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, QRA, and Bowtie

• Develop or review safety deliverables including:

▸ Safety Case, COMAH /CIMAH submissions, risk registers

• Ensure all safety designs and documentation comply with API, IEC, DNV, ISO standards and PETRONAS / DOSH regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Process, or Safety Engineering

• 8–10 years or more of offshore experience in technical/process safety engineering

• Hands-on experience with risk tools (e.g. PHA-Pro, BowtieXP, DNV Phast)

• Familiar with Malaysian and regional regulatory requirements (e.g. PETRONAS MS-OG, DOSH)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to operate across technical and client interfaces

• Able to travel or mobilize for offshore or site-based safety reviews when required

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the structural engineering scope of Genting Energy’s FLNG development as Owner’s Representative, ensuring that the EPC contractor delivers a design and execution that is safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with project objectives. The role requires full-time presence at the fabrication yard in China during execution, with transition to Indonesia for offshore integration. Occasional travel to Europe and Southeast Asia will be expected. The candidate must be adaptable, technically sound, and capable of representing Owner interests in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve structural engineering deliverables from the EPC contractor, focusing on hull-topside integration, module supports, and deck reinforcements.

• Verify structural calculations, models, and reports prepared using tools such as SACS, MOSES, and SESAM, ensuring alignment with project requirements and Class rules.

• Monitor structural works at the Chinese fabrication yard, ensuring technical compliance, constructability, and readiness for critical milestones such as lifting, load-out.

• Provide structural engineering assurance and support during transition to the offshore integration site in Indonesia.

• Act as Genting Energy’s focal point for structural interfaces with Class Societies (e.g., BV), EPCIC teams, naval architects, and internal project stakeholders.

• Lead or participate in reviews of lifting and installation procedures, method statements, and risk assessments related to structural activities.

• Attend design reviews, HAZID, and assist in resolving technical queries and NCRs raised by the yard or third-party contractors.

• Travel to vendor sites in Europe and Southeast Asia to support alignment, integration readiness, and technical clarification.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Degree in Structural, Civil, or Offshore Engineering.

• Registered with BEM or equivalent regulatory body (mandatory).

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in offshore structural engineering.

• At least 3 years in Owner or PMC role on FPSO or FLNG projects, ideally during execution or yard supervision phases.

• Demonstrated understanding of shipyard and topside integration yard workflows and interface management for floating structures.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in interpreting structural models and outputs from tools like SACS, MOSES, SESAM, STAAD.Pro.

• Strong grasp of BV, API, ISO, and Cryogenic specific structural requirements.

• Effective communicator with proven experience in multicultural teams and time zone coordination.

Mobility & Availability

• Full-time assignment in China during fabrication, Hull-Topside Integration and Commissioning (approx. 18 months).

• Transition to Indonesia for Offshore start-up and Pre-operation support.

• Occasional international travel required (Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on exposure in geotechnical or foundation-related projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing site-based construction activities including piling, ground improvement, and soil retention systems. The successful candidate will coordinate technical implementation, ensure compliance to design specifications, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute geotechnical site works such as bored piling, ground anchors, soil nails, micro piling, stone columns, and grouting works.
• Interpret construction drawings and method statements for implementation on site.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure alignment on design and execution.
• Monitor work progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with QA/QC protocols and statutory safety regulations.

Project Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a high-profile EPC shipbuilding project for a Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessel. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle in Busan, South Korea, ensuring the project meets all technical, financial, and scheduling requirements. This role is crucial to maintaining coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of the Ro-Ro shipbuilding EPC project from initiation to delivery.

• Prepare and review civil and structural design deliverables such as foundation drawings, structural analysis reports, and layout plans.

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer with a strong background in oil & gas to support a Detail Engineering Design (DED) project in Kerteh. This role will involve detailed process design, development of engineering deliverables, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure the successful execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform process simulations, calculations, and design for oil & gas facilities.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, and other technical deliverables.
• Ensure all process designs comply with client standards, industry codes, and project specifications.
• Support HAZOP/HAZID reviews and other safety studies.

Scope 

• Area of responsibility covers management of the FPSO topside process system. 
• Assist the Technical Superintendent and Fleet Production Superintendent with all process related matters. 
• The management may and will assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description. 

Duties 

• Execute and coordinate actions with offshore and onshore operations team to maintain and support the FPSO Helang production. 
• Ensure a safe, high quality and cost-effective process operation and maintenance of the FPSO process systems with minimum environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, safety and Unit Management System. 
• Fulfil the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in production system and associate utilities are identified, procedures are being reviewed. Suggest changes to management for review  and implementation.  
• Monitor the human resources available to the production department with Production Supervisor. 
• Provide feedback to Crewing Department and Fleet Production Superintended to ensure composition of the Process Team offshore in adequate of manpower .  
• Utilize the CMMS to ensure compliance and to report any non-compliance. Monitor the CMMS system and follow up on planned tasks and address any outstanding tasks. 
• Assist Technical Superintendent with the unit’s budget, preparation of accounts utilization forecast, cost control and review production related purchase requisitions related to the designated area of authority. 
• Spend sufficient time offshore on board the unit (minimum ten weeks a year) and be familiar with the production unit, crew, all process issues. 
• Be able to assist the offshore production department at any time required and mobilize offshore when required and as instructed by Technical Superintendent. 
• Familiar with safety requirements, including permit to work systems, operational and emergency procedures company policy and instructions and ensure that the FPSO production crew are aware of and understand them. 
• Maintain accurate records for operation and maintenance system. 
• Review and monitor critical inventory level, and timely ordering of topside equipment spare parts, consumables and process chemicals. 
• Assist in the planning of major repairs, projects, continuous improvement initiatives and planned annual shutdown. Keep the Technical Superintendent and Fleet Production Superintendent  informed of the process unit status. 
• Liaise with the offshore team for assistance with maintenance and operation on the process plant. 
• Review the Safety Management System, monitor operational procedures are implementation within the production department. 
• Review Operational Procedures and Temporary Work instructions as required. 
• Review FPSO Helang daily operation reports, highlight area of concern to both onshore and offshore team.  
• Monitor the routine tasks in conjunction with Production Supervisor. 
• Review all F&G, Safety system inhibits including monthly registers (LO/LC, PSV’s, Spec Blind registers). 
• Monitor and support contractor’s activities on the process plant and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the Management System. 
• Review work permits, risk assessments in the Unisea system and monitor work being carried out on a daily basis. 
• Make proper Superintendents visit reports after offshore visit. 
• Review purchase request and liaise with procurement department to ensure purchase request and purchase orders are processed accordingly. 
• Follow up on critical spares and shutdown planning in conjunction with onshore and offshore team to ensure all planned work activities are completed and process is ready for restart with no delays. 
• Monitor all offshore reports, logs and spread sheets. 
• Undertake training relevant to the position requirements. 
• Offshore visits, audits of the PTW system and safety system. 

Qualifications 

• Engineering education at Bachelor’s Degree or STCW III/2. 
• Complete Advance Process Operation training 
• Process Engineer or 4-5 years’ experience in oil and gas production. 
• Experience in Process Operation, Oil Field Operation and having knowledge of the nature of oil, gas and water.
