KEY OBJECTIVES

Will be working as Lead QA/QC engineer for onshore gas plant that will be constructed at Bintulu, Sarawak.

Responsible for QA/QC management during construction of Lang Lebah Onshore Gas Plant and ensure that it is compiled to Project Specifications and Contract requirements. Responsible for implementation of Project Quality Plan requirements at construction yards / sites.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitor Non-conformances on regular basis and ensure that NCR is issued, and suitable action is taken timely to implement the corrective action and close the NCR.

• Participate in various audits conducted by Contractor and Company, follow up on audit findings and its closure.

• Coordinate with internal team members such as engineering, construction, SSHE, Commissioning for any interface related to QA/QC

• Supervise the activities of inspectors and mentor them from time to time.

• Monitor the QA/QC performance of Contractor, take up with Contractor on quality issues and attend regular QA/QC meetings.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Production, Welding, Metallurgy engineering, or equivalent professional qualification in related field

 

Work Experience

• Minimum experience of 20 years in QA/QC in oil and gas construction projects out of which minimum 10 years’ experience shall be in the construction of onshore gas plant or refinery or petrochemical units.

• At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC in Lead QA/QC role and previously handled project with high H2s (sour service environment).

• Must have worked previously with Oil and Gas Operating Company or EPCC contractors involved in construction of onshore gas plant / refinery / petrochemical units.


Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)

• Must possess strong experience in welding, fabrication techniques, NDT, blasting/painting of onshore gas plant / refinery / petrochemical units.

• Must be well versed in non-destructive testing such as RT, UT, PT, MPI and must be able to interpret radiographs and witness PT, MPI, and UT.

• Must hold ASNT level II or equivalent certification in RT and UT

• Must be certified Welding inspector such as CSWIP 3.2, AWS SCWI or equivalent.

• Must be Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent, recognized by IRCA.

Senior Engineer, Instrumentation (Telecommunications) (Offshore)

1. KEY OBJECTIVES

Involves supervising technical aspects of Telecommunication engineering works during Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) phase of Lang Lebah development project Offshore facilities and its related facilities. The engineering role shall ensure compliance with contract requirements, reference specifications, design codes, and standards. This includes providing technology solutions for telecommunications across various systems such as Fibre Optic, Satellite, WiMax, Digital Trunked Radio, IP PABX, Microwave, VSAT, SSB, CCTV, PAGA, RACON, WAN, LAN, WLAN, Firewall, etc., for both offshore and onshore facilities.

Accountabilities include supervising the EPCC Contractor to carry out the detailed engineering, procurement packages as well as supervise the equipment factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT), onshore installations and commissioning. Also to engineer and ensure all telecommunication systems for the projects assigned will be fully functional as intended, meet project requirements, cost effective and meet planned schedules. 


2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Responsible for the Project Execution covering all Engineering Phases from CFT development, Tendering execution, Basic engineering, Detailed engineering, Construction, Installation, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up. 
  • Telecommunication system designs, implementation, modification, integration, operation, support, and maintenance including, but not limited to data analysis, troubleshooting and documentation. 
  • Perform telecommunication technology selection for next chapter of PTTEP. 
  • Perform or recommend network and security devices configuration to meet company “cyber security” standard requirement. 
  • Effectively and professionally interface with multi discipline engineer, teammates, and other groups in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the telecommunication systems.

2.1 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee/supervise the engineering contractor team to complete telecommunication tasks during the conceptual design, FEED design and detail design and RFQ for EPCC package.

· Experience with major FLNG projects from conception through to operations.

· Familiarity with software tools for marine engineering design and analysis.
