We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to support a major offshore energy project.

This is a short-term role requiring strong technical leadership in offshore structural design, analysis, and coordination during engineering and execution phases.

Assignment Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate structural engineering activities for offshore topsides, jackets, and subsea structures.

Senior Structural Engineer (Remote – Australia Projects)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong design and construction experience to support projects involving towers and silos (intake, cleaning, storage, process structures). The role requires hands-on involvement in structural design, steel calculations, and coordination with project stakeholders, all while ensuring compliance with Australian standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering support across design and procurement phases.

• Develop and review floor plans (equipment, openings, loads).

• Prepare basis of design documents, load calculations, and modelling of primary/secondary steel (StaadPro).

• Produce drawings (handrails, baseplates, anchorage bolts) and material takeoffs.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support a remote project involving the design and documentation of steel structures for an industrial facility in Australia.

The scope includes development of structural drawings, calculations, take-offs, baseplate design, and BOMs, using tools like StaadPro, AutoCAD (.dwg), and Excel (.xlsx).

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce structural design deliverables, including:
• Floor plans, steel layouts, typical details, and baseplate drawings

Job Summary:

Work within the Kuala Lumpur design team to deliver detailed design drawings for process piping, piping isometrics, and BoMs related to process packages in Separation, Filtration, Solids Management, and Produced Water Treatment for oil & gas projects.

As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing off peers’ and subordinates’ work, and occasionally designing installation interconnecting pipework.

• The selected engineer will join a multidisciplinary engineering team handling HVAC system modifications and new designs across oil & gas infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
