Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in Production & Operations and a minimum of 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) units and be capable of overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, with potential offshore visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily production and operational activities to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Oversee FSO operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective production processes.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations, industry best practices, and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, contractors, and third-party service providers.
- Monitor production performance and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and operational personnel.
- Report directly to senior management on production status, challenges, and key operational metrics.
- Support asset integrity management, ensuring maintenance and reliability programs are effectively executed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Production & Operations within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience in managing FSO operations.
- Strong knowledge of offshore production systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including offshore teams and external vendors.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) units is an added advantage.
- Prior experience working with an E&P Operator.
- Certification in HSE, process safety, or production operations is a plus.

Structural Analysis Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer with 10-12 years of expertise in Naval/Hull/Interface structure FEM analysis. This is a 3-month contract role based in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on FPSO design and analysis. The candidate must have strong proficiency in FEMAP/ANSYS, knowledge of ABS class requirements, and the ability to perform detailed structural assessments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct FEM analysis of Naval, Hull, and Interface structures.
- Perform structural analysis of module stools and hull interface structures.

General Superintendent - Malaysia

Job Description:
• Manages OCMs and provides the vision for a better offshore operation, planning and coordination
• Develop the overall construction plan for the project in conjunction with the project PEP.
• Oversees, manages, and document all day-to-day offshore operations including safety compliance requirement
• Communicate issues, events, performance and progress daily to the Head of Offshore Execution and PMT.
• Report any problems/issues promptly to the management to facilitate the most cost-effective solution
• Establish effective working relationships with PMT and Client
• Develop a high-performance offshore team through supervision, training, coaching and mentoring
• Ensures regular feedback is shared with subordinates including timely completion crew performance appraisal
• Assist in formulating and implementing the offshore construction schedule.
• Maintain the schedule and ensures that offshore work performed is consistent with the contract and will meet or exceed client expectation
• Communicate the project progress / outlook and any specific highlights regarding project including all technical, quality, HSSE or any other concerns / issues (internally at worksite and with management at HQ).
• Lead and ensure the implementation of HSEMS and QMS at worksite as per company’s and project’s specifications for safe completion and compliance.
• Ensure procedures/ plans as well as reports/ records are developed and produced for / during the mob / demob activities for execution as well as as-built documentations.
• Review and approve all site produced documents (procedures / plans & records / reports) and shall be the custodian / owner of the documents for single point approving as well to communicate and coordinate the essence to all respective PIC at the worksite, HQ and others.
• Take charge of the welfare and well-being of all crew and all personnel under responsibility as the worksite owner.
• Mentor / coach the personnel under supervision to increase the capability and capacity of personnel / team based on supervisory role to ensure personnel and team competency is at the required level (project / construction personnel).
• Evaluate and provide feedback on all construction / marine (where applicable) crew for each project for all aspects of work i.e. performance, capacity, gap and recommendations to ensure workforce is competent and for future records and database.
Mandatory
- More than 15 years as Offshore Construction Superintendent and overseeing offshore operations, including diving, ROV, survey, equipment management and marine spread coordination.
- 8-10 years as Construction Manager in managing construction operations, and ensuring successful project delivery within planned time and budget.
