Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in the energy industry, with at least 5 years in FPSO projects.
• Proven track record in leading procurement for large-scale projects within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor evaluation skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent understanding of procurement regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Within the Materials, Welding and Coatings department, you will be responsible for providing support

to projects and other departments for all questions pertaining to metallic materials (carbon steel,

stainless steels, nickel base alloys) and corrosion (materials selection, CO2 corrosion, H2S corrosion,

SCC).

This role provides exciting opportunities to be involved throughout all stages of projects with activities

related to Flexibles, rigid flowlines, PIP, Subsea structures, offshore/onshore fabrication and

installation.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Produce the material specifications for pipes, forgings, and bends.

• Reviews and clarifies offers received from pipes, bends, and forgings suppliers.

• Responsible of the materials selection according to the corrosive environment and the project

constraints.

• Perform CO2 corrosion calculation.

• Participate to meeting with Clients, Vendors and Suppliers, and interface with Client

representatives as required for resolving any technical issues.

• Support quality and SCM departments for supplier’s qualification.

Profile:

• Good understanding of metallurgical and mechanical properties of metallic materials.

• Have good level of familiarity of recognized industry codes and standards relevant to materials

Our client is seeking a Design HSE Engineer/Technical Safety Engineer with 5-8 years of experience for a 1-year contract position in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will lead Design HSE Studies, Loss Prevention Studies, and Fire Protection Engineering Design. The role involves collaborating with third-party consultants, managing engineering deliverables, and supporting construction and commissioning teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and review Design HSE and Loss Prevention Studies.

He/she shall ensure compliance of Contractors deliverables and documents with Company HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes and standards and best engineering practices, and with Project specifications. The service holder will be the Contractor contact point for all matters related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.

• The service holder will participate to project reviews as requested by Company requirements (HAZOP, HAZID, SPOT, ODR, PTR...) and prepare or participate in Safety / Technical Audits for his/her discipline.

He/she is responsible for monitoring the engineering of the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of. He/she will timely and actively liaise with other Hull, Mooring & Topsides Specialists.

• The service holder will interface actively with other discipline engineers (Hull, Topsides and mooring Specialists) and other package engineers as necessary on all engineering, procurement, constructability, operability and maintainability matters, in order to ensure consistency of the work. The service holder will also maintain close liaison with FPSO Interface leader, with the other Package Engineers for the management of interfaces related to the discipline.

• The service holder will also participate in the follow-up of the Topsides and FPSO construction on yard and coordinate activities of the Construction Superintendent for the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of. He/she will remain, with regards to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of, the correspondent for engineering and construction occurring problems, and for any advice to be given or technical deviation request to be analysed and answered.

• The service holder will ensure adequate and timely reporting to the FPSO Engineering Leader (progress, concerns), and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, potential optimizations, or improvements and proposes solutions with regards to his/her discipline.

Job Overview:

This position will involve overseeing all aspects of project control activities for FPSO projects, ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project controls, with a strong understanding of FPSO operations, and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project control systems, procedures, and practices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish, implement, and maintain the Project Control Execution Plan and associated Project Control procedures, focusing on scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting for the FPSO project.
• Set up and supervise the development of key deliverables, including the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Project Master Schedule, Progress Measurement System, Total Installed Cost Estimate, and Control Budgets.
• Produce critical path analysis, progress variance reports, earned value management (EVM), and productivity analysis to keep the Management and Project Team informed of the project's status, ensuring it remains on track and within budget.
• Provide expert advice on planning and scheduling, including the development of recovery and mitigation plans to address project delays or cost overruns.
• Coordinate and prepare weekly and monthly status reports for Senior Management, the Client, and the Project Team, ensuring transparency and accurate communication of project progress.
• Generate and maintain Control Budgets based on the Project Estimate and Code of Accounts. Provide monthly updates with actual costs, forecasts (Estimate To Complete and Estimate At Completion), and variance analysis.
• Set up and maintain a Change Order Management System. This includes the preparation, evaluation, and recommendation of Change Orders, and managing requests for extensions of time, cost implications, and schedule adjustments.
• Lead and participate in the negotiation and resolution of Change Orders related to cost and schedule, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Control within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior project control role. Specific experience in FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of Project Control systems and tools, Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), resource-loaded scheduling, and budget control.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for overseeing process safety and technical safety on floater and marine systems within EPCIC projects, specifically focusing on offshore EPCIC or floater projects. The role involves reviewing safety deliverables, third-party safety studies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and local regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and review EPCIC deliverables and third-party safety studies.
• Respond to EPCIC Contractor’s technical queries on behalf of the company.
• Attend and participate in discipline meetings with contractors.

Job Summary:

The Senior Structural Engineer will oversee and manage all structural engineering activities for EPCIC projects on behalf of the Owner, focusing on floaters. This includes reviewing contractor deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing technical direction to the EPCIC Contractor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and review EPCIC deliverables for structural engineering on behalf of the Owner.
• Supervise and oversee all structural work executed by EPCIC Contractor and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with API RP2A, ISO, and relevant international codes and standards.
• Interpret Owner’s project specifications and guide the EPCIC Contractor accordingly.
